Resistant to scab, not affected by major diseases.

Interesting

Lucy is notable for its naturally red coloured flesh, inherited from red fleshed breeding lines. This makes it visually striking and unusual compared to most apples, while also giving it a unique berry like flavour profile that sets it apart from traditional varieties.

Dessert apples for fresh consumption, valued for their attractive appearance and refreshing flavour. They are also suitable for salads and fresh slices, as well as for juices, thanks to their distinctive taste.

At the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering at SPU in Nitra, we've created a project that offers visitors to our plantings a new way to discover the beauty and intriguing aspects of plants. Each plant in our plantings has its own unique QR code. All a visitor needs to do is scan this code with their smartphone.
