Plantings near the Institute of Horticulture are primarily intended for students of all three degrees of study at FZKI SPU in Nitra. They are a place where we can discover the diversity of flora and learn about the relationships between plants and their surroundings. In cooperation with modern technology, we at the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering at SPU in Nitra have created a project that brings students, as well as visitors to these plantings, a new way of discovering the beauty and interestingness of plants. Each plant that is marked with a QR code is included in this project and you can learn more about it after downloading it to your mobile phone or tablet. QR codes are a bridge between nature and technology, and we are delighted to have created such an interactive and engaging way of interactive learning.
How many times have we walked past a plant we didn't know the name of or its meaning? QR codes help us bridge this gap. Each plant in our plantings, which is part of the teaching process, has its own unique QR code. All you have to do is scan this code with a smartphone or tablet and get interesting information.
