resistant to scab, with low susceptibility to powdery mildew and fire blight; sensitive to excessive sulphur applications
Harvest/storage
Ripens between Braeburn and Fuji, approximately 20–25 days after Golden Delicious. In conventional cold storage it keeps until February, and in CA/ULO storage until July. After storage it reaches a very high sugar content. It is not recommended to market immediately after removal from storage.

Interesting

Primarily intended for direct farm sales and for organic orchards, for which this cultivar is particularly well suited. It is a good cultivar for southern regions of Europe.

Labeling Plants with QR Codes

At the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering at SPU in Nitra, we've created a project that offers visitors to our plantings a new way to discover the beauty and intriguing aspects of plants. Each plant in our plantings has its own unique QR code. All a visitor needs to do is scan this code with their smartphone.
